KUITPO FOREST
19 & 20 MAY 2023

The JLF Trek is an endurance event designed to challenge you physically and mentally. A medium to high level of fitness is required but with the right preparation and attitude you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve. Whether you complete the full two-day event or a shorter section, this weekend will leave you inspired and ready to take on the world.

The JLF Trek will see you hiking through beautiful McLaren Flat and Kuitpo regions, taking in spectacular countryside, national parks and forests.

This year, we are dedicating The JLF Trek SA 2023 in honour of Sarah Black.

Sarah was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2017. Sarah fought bravely and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was tough, courageous, outspoken, vibrant and funny.

Sadly Sarah lost her battle in 2022. Her story is a familiar one for many young people who are diagnosed with bowel cancer.

THE FINE PRINT

The Jodi Lee Foundation is the event organiser. If we consider the route is unsafe due to heavy rain, lightning, high winds, bushfire or the like, we will re-route, find an alternative shortened course or cancel the event. No refund of registration fees or money raised will be made, and your registration fee cannot be transferred to another JLF Trek or event. This is also the case if you choose not to participate in the modified event. Due to the months of preparation involved, the event will not be re-scheduled to any other weekend. We also reserve the right to change the route or checkpoint locations or distances as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to participants prior to the event.
