Four years ago you left us, yet you are with me, everyday and always.
Each and every step is about raising awareness that bowel cancer is not an older persons illness, it does not discriminate and there is still so much more that needs to be done so that others do not have to travel the same path.
Luke celebrated his 26th birthday and only 3 weeks later he received his diagnosis. Luke had a rare form of colorectal cancer with a BRAF mutation (only 4% of bowel cancer suffers have this condition). Whilst treatments have progressed remarkably there is still no cure for this type of mutation.
