I'm taking part in this event in the name of bowel cancer prevention and to raise essential funds for the Jodi Lee Foundation.
My reason for participating in the trek is my cousin Jaymee. She was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in January and have since undergone major surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. Jaymee will be taking part in a 25km trek whilst undergoing chemo - in an attempt to raise awareness about bowel cancer. Her strength, positivity and courage throughout her treatment has nothing but inspirational! Let's get it girl!
