I'm taking part in this event (the 25km trek) in the name of bowel cancer prevention and to walk beside my big sister Jaymee.
For anyone that perhaps doesn’t know, Jaymee was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in January and has since undergone major surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. Jaymee will finish treatment in October and will hopefully have clear scans following this.
Jaymee is as strong as they come and she’s tackling this thing head on so I want to do what I can to help.
