I'm taking part in this event in the name of bowel cancer prevention and to raise essential funds for the Jodi Lee Foundation.
Gemma Brunckhorst, a close friend of one of my best friends, died last year from bowel cancer - she was only 31. I only met Gemma a couple of times but was very inspired hearing about her strength and humility. I'm going to attempt to walk 80km and raise funds in her name.
