We have chosen to take part in The JLF Trek to help raise awareness of bowel cancer and the importance of early detection.
Being regular visitors to Daylesford, we have enjoyed exploring the region and are looking forward to visiting for the purpose of taking part in this event.
We are both looking forward to taking on this challenge that will see us hiking 70km along the Goldsfields Track on 2 and 3 September. Though it will be tough, we recognise that it wont be as tough as the challenge faced by people with bowel cancer every day.
We want to make a difference and help spread the word about the importance of screening regularly, acting quickly on symptoms, and leading a healthy and active lifestyle to prevent bowel cancer.
