The Incredibowels look forward to the challenge of the JLF Trek, and to raising money and awareness of bowel cancer in the community.
One of our members, Natalie, was diagnosed with bowel cancer in September 2014, aged 39 and the trek will mark the 2nd anniversary of Nat's diagnosis.
Fortunately, due to early detection, Natalie had successful bowel surgery to remove the affected bowel, and remains cancer free today.
Things could have been so much different if the bowel cancer wasn't detected early - and that's why we're passionate about raising awareness about how easy it is to do a bowel screen and be proactive about bowel cancer.
Nat is joined on the trek by her daughter (Alice), sister (Laura), brother-in-law (Michael), and two dear friends (Doll and Drum).
We can't wait!!
