I work as an oncology nurse so have been touched by patients who lives you learn about; the patients themselves, their families and you're there throughout their whole journey and battles with cancer. I think it is so important to raise awareness about bowel cancer (and all cancers) so people know more about it and also the signs they should be looking out for and how they can screen for it. Oncology is a special area, where everyone is affected and everyone works as a team.
For this walk, I will be part of a team made up of nurses and doctors who work in Oncology to show our support and to raise awareness :)
