My life and family has been touched by Bowel Cancer in several was my amazing Mother was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer 8 years ago and had a surgery and ongoing treatment to now be in remission and is about to turn 88. My older brother also was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer and after surgery and treatment is also in remission. I also lost two of my closest friends in the last 2 years to bowel cancer. I am doing the Trek to raise awareness to my friends and those around me to promote early detection and also living life to its fullest. To embrace life and face challenges head on and being mindful that Health and Well-being are precious gifts.
