I wish to participate in this event in recognition of Alan Iverson who passed away at 43 from Bowel cancer. He was my Athletics coach and trained me to an National level . He had an impact on my life as a young teenager through to my early 20's and helped me become the person I am today. I often think of him and the 6 months from diagnosis to his passing and wish to help make a difference in early detection and treatment of this disease.
