Nearly 10 years ago a friend spoke about a ride he was doing for the JLF, he spoke passionately about the circumstances surrounding the start of the foundation and the importance of early screening for bowel cancer. It made me think of my own family. I realised that between Angela and I we had three grand parents who had had bowel cancer and one parent with an abnormal test.
While testing for Angela and I is important for our children it is doubly so, I thought the best way to raise there awareness was for me to become involved in supporting the foundation and the work they do.
