Once again I will be participating in one of the toughest single day cycling events on the planet by riding 235km over 3 mountains climbing a total of over 4,500m in the Victorian Alps.

Inspired by Jodi Lee Foundation and motivated by personal desire to ‘keep moving’ I am taking on the Peaks Challenge again this year with Nick Lee and the JLF team.

Becoming exposed to the JLF campaign through my cycling pursuits I have become passionately engaged to the cause in the knowledge that I personally have the power to save lives from bowel cancer – Australia’s second most common form of the disease.

With all of the uncertainties of life, health and wellbeing, here is a place that one can largely eliminate the odds that bowel cancer will feature in life by making active and heathy lifestyle choices combined with taking the test for proactive early detection.
