Nothing like leaving it till the last minute....with just 4 weeks to go, we were lucky enough to secure a coveted spot in The Jodi Lee Foundation's SA Hiking Challenge. We've been rocked in the last year by those taken too young by cancer and as recent as last week bowel cancer proved yet again that it doesn't care if you've only just turned 40.Unfortunately we are in the position to say #iknowsome1 who has had bowel cancer. As one of many long time supporters of The Jodi Lee Foundation we've taken the bowel screening test, enjoyed ourselves at a few Little Black Dress parties, golf days and footy games over the years. Now it is time to adopt the other key message of the Foundation - reducing your risk of bowel cancer through a healthy lifestyle. What better way than trekking through the famous Heysen Trail in late May?The Jodi Lee Foundation does incredible work to raise awareness about the importance of screening to prevent bowel cancer. Here are three simple ways you can support us as we take on this challenge:1. DONATE TO THE JODI LEE FOUNDATIONDonations go towards awareness programs like last year's campaign that reached over 1 million Offspring fans last season, advertising campaigns reaching over 9.5 million Australians and social media that reaches millions every year.2. ORDER A BOWEL SCREENING KIT HEREFor the same price as a week's worth of latte's, you can order a bowel screening kit online, do it in the privacy of your own home and get sent the results. It's so simple - what better gift for your family and loved ones?3.
