What better way to raise awareness and donations for bowel cancer prevention than to walk the beautiful Heysen Trail and all in a black tutu.
Whilst my current battle is with ovarian cancer, I remain on a frequent review program of a cancerous bowel polyp that was detected six years ago and surgically removed in July 2014.
One thing I have learned through my experience is that the 'symptoms' of both bowel and ovarian cancer are very similar and unfortunately hard to detect.

They can be easily mistaken for just feeling 'unwell' or feeling a 'bit off today'. So don't ignore any changes you are concerned bout. Get them checked!
It is with great pride that I attempt this walk with Alison (my beautiful daughter), her friends and Morton Philips Colleague Claire, and Tessa as well as my dear friend Mary.
So please support me, donate generously for this good cause and wish me luck.
