The Jodi Lee Foundation is upfront when it says that The SA Hiking Challenge is true to it's name ..... it's a challenge!
However, it's nothing compared to the challenges faced by my niece Jodi Lee, and Tracey Lee Diamond, nor those faced by loved ones, family, friends, and friends of friends left behind.
I'm planning to complete the 80km, two day hike through the Copper Country with my sister Sharyn Scott and friend Robyn Murphy.
We're hiking in Jodi's memory, to have fun, challenge ourselves, and to raise funds so that The Jodi Lee Foundation can continue programmes to raise awareness of bowel cancer, encourage early screening, and show that early detection can save lives.
Bowel cancer is 90% curable if detected early.
