After seeing first hand, the enthusiastic response from strangers towards The Jodi Lee Foundation on our recent 1000km ride from Coffs Harbour to Bondi, I strongly believe I can do more to help!  I know we got the message out to so many people who had never even seriously thought of doing a Bowel Cancer Screening test and helped change their thinking.  So, on a small scale, maybe if I continue to participate in these events, I really can make a difference… on a large scale, The Jodi Lee Foundation is already making a difference and is saving lives.My husband died of cancer nearly 10 years ago – his was a rare cancer and there was no cure – a quick death, leaving me with an 8 month old baby and a sizable business to run – he was a young fit man who didn’t even see his 40th birthday.  Bowel Cancer can be cured if detected early – I don’t think anyone deserves to go through the pain of helplessly watching death by cancer.Let’s get behind The Jodi Lee Foundation and help them tell the world about how one can avoid Bowel Cancer – their Corporate Screening Programmes, the Scholarship at Curtin University, the public awareness all costs money – and when one is faced with cancer, somehow, money doesn’t seem to have the same importance… please donate what you can.
