This particular health topic is one close to my heart after having lost a favourite cousin to Bowel Cancer just a few short years ago at age 40, leaving behind a loving husband and two teenage children.
To learn that more than 65% of free bowel screen tests get thrown in the bin by recipients just blew my mind, considering it is now the No.1 cancer killer in Australia. It is also the one cancer than when detected early has an extremely high rate of total recovery.
