My aunty and I have chosen to take part in the JLF Trek 2017 to raise awareness of cancer and the importance of early detection. My mum / aunty's sister passed away at the end of last year from oesophageal cancer, so this cause is very dear to us. We have never attempted this distance but we are in training and feel that it will be very challenging, but rewarding. We are in the process of getting sponsorship and hope that we can raise a significant amount of money to go to this worthy cause.
