I'm back again for my seventh JLF Trek to raise funds for the Jodi Lee Foundation.
This year we'll be hiking on the Yorke Peninsula which is where I was born and spent all of my childhood and the 15 years I had with my Dad.
As always I'm hiking in memory of my Dad Ross Sawley who died of bowel cancer at just 47 years old, my father-in-law Brian who battled bowel cancer twice and our family friend Rosalie who sadly passed away in 2020 from bowel cancer.
They are all missed very much.
Jodi Lee Foundation works to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer, and that early detection saves lives.
I appreciate any donation that you can make, and hope that all my family and friends take the time to talk to their doctor about any family history or symptoms of bowel cancer. Take the test, it might just save your life.
