I'm taking part in this event to raise awareness about prevention and early detection of bowel cancer. My amazing husband was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer at 31 and almost 2 years down the track is finally cancer-free, finished with his treatments, bag-free and healed from his surgeries. We are so grateful that he was able to get diagnosed when he did as any further delay may have changed the outcome significantly.
