My husband Dan was 36 when he was diagnosed with advanced metastatic bowel cancer. Between his first symptoms and being diagnosed was 3 months and yet the cancer had spread to his liver, lungs and lymph nodes. Before he was diagnosed, we weren’t aware of how common it was in young people. I’m taking part in this trek to help raise funds so that the Jodi Lee foundation can continue to raise awareness and get this message out.
