Jodi Lee was a friend of mine. She was a beautiful young mother of two and way too young to die! This will be my first JLF Trek, although I’ve been a supporter of the Jodi Lee Foundation since Nick Lee started spreading the message of “the importance of early detection of bowel cancer” over 10 years ago. I’m doing the JLF Trek this year because, I’m pleased to say, I’m in a much better frame of mind now than I have been over the past 10 years. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been happy and content as I’ve travelled through life bringing up my four sons, along with my husband, Brad, and working full-time while studying. However, since we moved to Adelaide, I’ve not been good at making my own fitness a priority. So my health is not as good as it should be. I want to get the message out to the many others in the same boat as me - put your health before all else! Give me a call if you’re going for a walk - I need lots of training ????
