I'm doing this big walk for my friend Kate, and to raise awareness about preventing bowel cancer. Kate is part of the reason I uprooted my family and moved to Adelaide...to work with her. She's larger than life, lives life to the full, has shown me how being stretched to your limit doesn't mean you are less engaged with the important things in life. And she's still demonstrating all that to the max while receiving palliative care for bowel cancer. Plus she's walking more than twice as far as me for the Jodie Lee Foundation, which is incredible.
