I am taking part in this event to raise awareness about preventing bowel cancer. My paternal grandma whom I never had the chance to meet, died of bowl cancer when she was young. Being Married to a gastroenterologist definitely made me more aware of the devastation this disease can cause.
I am a ‘new walker’. With a high aim of doing the 76km in two days, I am planning to start training early. With the help of my friends and teammates, I am determined to reach my goal.
So with your help, I want to reach my personal goal of fundraising of $2000.
