I’m taking part in this fabulous event to continue raising awareness about preventing bowel cancer.
I remember when Emily contacted me to ask if I could take part in this trek on her behalf, I was terrified. I had not done anything to that level of endurance before. She was so proud when I crossed that line for the first time back in May 2017, now I continue to do the trek in her memory. Emily sadly passed away to bowel cancer in August of 2017 at the age of 35.
