When the JODI LEE FOUNDATION TREK pop up in my social media feed and I realised it was in my home town (Barossa) and raised funds to promote early detection of bowel cancer, I jumped straight in.
Bowel Cancer has had a huge impact on my family and sadly was not detected early enough for my Dad who passed away 2.5yrs ago. I will be taking the trek in his memory and to reduce the impact of bowel cancer on other families.
Fellow True North Yoga teacher and friend, June Hoolihan and I, will take on the 76km trek over 2-days as the "True North Tribe". It is privilege to get behind the work of the Jodi Lee Foundation and support the amazing work they do - the awareness and information they promote has the capacity to impact families in a significant way and truly save lives.
