Many of my friends have down this trek previously but it was all held on my eldest daughters birthday, so I never entered. This year it’s not on her birthday and it is in the Barossa, my old hometown. So I couldn’t resist heading back to SA to walk and talk with some of my dear friends and raise money for a health charity, being a paediatric nurse for over 20 years cancer has touched my life in many ways. It’s my time to raise some money for cancer research.
