I walked this event last year and loved the challenge of training for something so physically demanding. My father had a scare with bowel cancer some years ago, and with early detection he is still with us today, fit and healthy. I never knew that bowel cancer was prevalent in younger people until I embarked on the JLF journey. The home screening test kit is so simple - why wouldn't you do it?I have learnt so much and look forward to a fabulous and challenging walk again.
