Hi everyone, I know of friends and family members who have been diagnosed with bowel cancer and my brother passed in 2009 from prostate cancer. All cancers are devastating to the person and those closest to them.
Being proactive in our self care is something we can have control over - taking the bowel screening available to us, noticing changes in our bowel motions, anything that is out of the ordinary.
Prevention is the key.
If I can contribute to helping people become more aware of screening for bowel cancer I am happy to help.
This means for me slogging it out for 76 kms along with Team BOoTIQUE TReKKers.
