As a community nurse with Barossa Village and yoga teacher I am passionate about caring and supporting people. I am often in contact with people who have been affected with bowel cancer and know how important early detection is! My dad had bowel cancer 12 years ago; luckily it was detected early ( his father & 2 brothers died of bowel cancer) radiation therapy worked for him but has left him with irreversible side effects. I also have friends’ parents and clients who have lost their battle to bowel cancer. When Tanya, director of True North Yoga at Tanunda put the challenge to the tribe at True North to help raise awareness, I didn't hesitate..........It is a privilege to get behind and support the amazing work of The Jodie Lee Foundation. Please help us raise essential funds for the Foundation to continue with their work

Although it may be too late for my dad who is fighting his own battle with bowel cancer at the moment...hopefully this will prevent other people and families going through what we are experiencing now
