As a keen walker and a member of Friends of the Heysen, I love walking whether it be in the bush, beach or city streets. I participated in the JLF Trek in 2016 but unfortunately wasn't able to complete the entire trek. I was extremely disappointed with this result and wanted to challenge myself again to see if I could make it. I have come back more focused than ever and hopefully better prepared. We don't always get a second chance but I determined that I will walk the 80kms and cross the finish line ...with my head held high!
