Team Mac Attack is taking part in the JLF trek 2016 along the Heysen Trail in SA to raise money for The Jodi Lee Foundation. This Foundation focuses on early detection of bowel cancer through screening.
Laura recently lost her father to this devastating disease. He fought a very brave battle and despite surgery and chemo, was unable to beat it. We can’t stress enough how important it is to Take The Test... it could save your life!
By doing this hike, we both can play a small role in raising money for this great cause. We also look forward to making some new friends and having some fun along the way.
Trekking 80 kms over two days will be a great challenge for us, but will be nothing compared to the challenges individuals and their families face when diagnosed with bowel cancer.
Donations no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated - it all counts in the fight against cancer.
