The "Holy Walkamolies” are participating in this wonderful walk to raise awareness of bowel cancer and also to celebrate life.
It is a great way to catch up with our friends and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
We are all very busy parents with many commitments and it is nice to be able to slow down and spend a weekend walking and talking ( not driving !!).
On a personal level my mum suffered from early stages of bowel cancer 5 years ago and had a successful operation. She is one of the lucky ones.
We look forward to a great challenge and hope to raise some funds to put towards bowel cancer prevention.
