My father died of throat cancer many years ago so I am grateful to The Jodi Lee Foundation for providing me with the opportunity to ride with the team to raise awareness and funds.
I was surprised to learn how common cancer is in our community (1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men diagnosed before 85) with bowel cancer being the second most common cancer in both men and women in Australia accounting for 10% of all cancer deaths.

So there are few among us who will remain unaffected in some way and its odds-on that someone I care for will benefit from improved cancer treatment at some time.
