The Jodi Lee Foundation supports a very worthy cause.
The very thought of bowel cancer is bloody scary to me and the statistics on it’s proliferation are profound.
With the advent of cheap and easy testing, increasing awareness is now our major obstacle to curbing the trend.
So, who wouldn’t want to be part of a group 20+ blokes riding up three giant hills, in a giant circle, in the middle of the Australian summer for around 12 hours or so?
It may sound daft but if I can use my effort on the bike to catch someone’s attention to maybe, just maybe, save their life, then that’s the least I can do!
And while I’m out there, through grimace and furrowed brow, I’ll take comfort in knowing there’s other riders out there doing exactly the same for The Jodi Lee Foundation.
