After joining Kennett Builders, I have been interested in the Jodi Lee Foundation and the work it does in promoting bowel cancer awareness. It was great to be a part of the Kennett community when we raised over $100k for the Foundation at our ‘100 Not Out’ Gala in 2014.
Kennett’s have created a team that will participate in this and next year’s New York Marathon, which I thought was a great way to not only see New York City, but another opportunity to raise money and awareness with the JLF.
Bowel cancer is something that touches a lot of lives and the work the JLF does in preventing, detecting and raising awareness is something very worthwhile in supporting.
The NY Marathon will be my first attempt at 42.2km, so it would be great if you could all get behind me and the JLF, and donate generously.
