Every 2 hours, bowel cancer claims a life. That’s around 80 people every week or over 4,000 each year. I've passionately advocated for regular bowel cancer screening for many years and been a member of the Jodi Lee Foundation NSW Advisory Board. I'm looking forward to chairing this board going forward.

In 2019, together with JLF CEO Kathryn Quintel, I will walk the last 115km of the Camino de Santiago to once more raise awareness and funds for bowel cancer prevention and help us save 965 lives by 2022.
