Seven years ago my brother in law Brett died after a long and hard battle with bowel cancer. He was 49 years old and a much loved husband, father and family member. Brett was passionate about early detection and prevention.
I hope that the money I raise will assist in preventing other families losing a loved family member.
I am determined to run the marathon on the 2 November this year in New York. I have been in training since February and overcome during that time, Achilles and hamstring injuries and an anaphylactic reaction that hospitalised me. Any donation however small will help me achieve my fundraising goal.
