Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure to know Jodi but have heard only wonderful things about her and the family from my wife who was her friend. I am running for the family and the cause which I truly believe in and for the opportunity of meeting Nick and his many supporters (so they can all help me finish the race).  With not much to do during the day on a weekend, early morning or late afternoon runs normally occur. As I now look out my window I notice some clouds coming in. That means shade for a 4 pm 21 km run…I can’t image what it will feel like to be told at the half marathon point…now do it again!
