I am so excited to be supporting The Jodi Lee Foundation by running in this year’s New York Marathon. Bowel cancer is a cause close to my heart, having lost my grandmother to complications related to the illness when I was only very little. I wish I could have had more time with her, and I like to think she would be very proud of me in this moment.
This will be my first Marathon, and I’m slightly nervous that the goal I have set myself is a bit too ambitious! Running has never been my forte, and training in a very warm Singapore is proving to be a challenge.
Nevertheless, I really look forward to crossing that finish line in November, and I thank you in advance for your generous support for both me and The Jodi Lee Foundation
