I started running as a kid - inspired, I guess, by my dad who used to run marathons. I've completed quite a few half marathons in and around Australia but I'm really excited that the New York Marathon will be my first 42kms. I've heard it's a pretty grueling course so my training is well underway.
I'm delighted to be running to raise money for The Jodi Lee Foundation. It seems impossible to escape cancer these days and over the last year or so it has affected close friends and family so I'm determined to use this opportunity to raise a heap of money. The competitive side of me also wants to try to beat my dad's personal best but I don't think that will happen!
