The Hannaford Family (Tom, Amanda, Lily, Bella and Sophie) are very good friends of the Lee’s and seeing the pain and suffering that this terrible disease caused Jodie and her family was something that no one should go through.
My wife Amanda was a very dear friend of Jodie’s and was actively involved in some of the earlier fund raising events prior to our departure to Brisbane in 2011.
Now almost 4 years on it is now my turn to assist again with the Foundation and the awareness activities to ensure greater public awareness to reduce the fatal consequences of this preventable disease.
This is the second ride for me with the Foundation. With Tassie now behind me and with the support of my patient family I am looking forward to this new challenge and more importantly continuing the awareness of the good work the Foundation is doing.
