Another team member from BrisVegas, I have been riding socially for three years.
I rode with Nick Lee and the JLF Crew on the “Tassie Tour” in 2014 and expected some pretty challenging days physically – which were certainly delivered.
What I didn’t expect and didn’t understand was the truly inspirational role that Nick and the JLF team play coming face to face with families taking on this dreadful disease.
I look forward to The Little Black Dress Classic 2015, 950 kms up and down hills, getting a really sore butt and a few saddle sores, hopefully all to help make a difference.
For a forty-four year old husband and father of three, the story of Jodi Lee and subsequent work by the foundation to turn such a tragedy into such a positive quest is a key motivator.

Both my grandmother and my wife's grandfather passed away as a result of bowel cancer.
I have been lucky enough, to personally not yet been touched by this dreaded disease, but have had plenty of friends and relatives that have. Some have been lucky enough to have reaped the benefit of early intervention others, tragically, not so.
