Well I'm saddling up again for the fifth Jodi Lee Foundation bike ride. Having seen the great effort and work Nick and the whole team at The Jodi Lee Foundation are doing in relation to bowel cancer it was easy for me to sign up again.
Having had and seen family friends deal with bowel cancer, me riding my bike around Northern NSW to the Gold Coast is small sacrifice. So as the warm weather arrives I will start to punch out the k's on the bike in readiness for March 2015.
On top of this, as part of the training, I have joined the JLF team in competing in the '3 PEAKS Challenge' which is a 235km ride starting and finishing in Falls Creek - taking in the Tawonga Gap and Mount Hotham.
As I hold up my end of the bargain again, I now require everyone to support the cause, and make a difference in fighting this evil disease.
