Just three months after my Dad watched me get married, he lost his brave battle with bowel cancer.  He was 50 years old.  He never got to spend time with his beautiful grandchildren.  I watched my Dad fight a battle that could have possibly been prevented through early detection. From that day on I embraced a "live life to the absolute fullest" attitude. In November 2013 I will be running the New York Marathon for The Jodi Lee Foundation with a group of team mates who are truly inspirational and have the same 'live life 'attitude. To help raise money for The Jodi Lee Foundation is an honour and one which I hold dear to my heart. When I cross that finish line I will be thinking of my Dad and those that I can help prevent this preventable disease .I thank you for your support.
