I am so thrilled to have this amazing opportunity to run the New York marathon in 2013 with The Jodi Lee Foundation and the His & Her time team. Whilst this trip means a lot of running, I am also dedicating myself to raising awareness about Bowel Cancer and helping The Jodi Lee Foundation to spread the message that early detection can save your life. In 2012 my Mother in law had a bowel cancer removed which was found after a bowel screening tests came back positive, that test really did save her life.I am passionate about helping to raise awareness to battle cancer.  I lost my mum to cancer when she was 47 and my cousin aged 34 also died from cancer, so whatever we can do to beat this disease in any of its forms lets do it!!If you are able to sponsor me it would be very much appreciated, every little bit helps The Jodi Lee foundation to spread the message.  Thanks so very much for your support.Bowel cancer is the second largest cause of cancer-related deaths in Australia.  It can be detected with a simple home test, so if you are over 40, PLEASE go to the chemist and buy a test kit, it may just save your life. Lee x
