In 2013 I will be 40 - I'll be doing the NYC Marathon to honour three members of my family who have passed away due to bowel cancer, my Uncle Pete, my cousin Anita, and my Mother-in-Law Dawn.  Because of a strong family history of bowel cancer I myself undertake regular screening, and fully support The Jodi Lee Foundation in encouraging everyone over the age of 40 to do the same.  Being open, honest and unembarrassed about seeking screening and treatment is the way forward in fighting bowel cancer.
