The NY marathon will be number 4 for me.

Since my first marathon at 18 it has been a goal of mine to run one of the grand slams of marathon running and I am sure it will be an unforgettable memory.

Between injuries and work, there has been many kms run in the past few months in preparation to hopefully go under 2.30, but after many injuries a realistic time will be near 2.40, hopefully!

I’m nearing the 40 mark and run a small swimming pool maintenance business.

My partner Myra and two children, Ava & Eddie are patient supporters as I am slightly hooked on exercise whenever the chance arises.

I couldn’t pass in the opportunity to run the New York marathon and to also help the JLF and raise awareness of bowel cancer screening. My partner’s father is courageously fighting cancer, so this is for Kelsey, and Harvey our dog with cancer too.
